Diocesan Finance and Support Services Manager: Janice Rennell – CA, BMS
Janice has held the position of Manager – Finance and Support Services for the Diocese since 2002, where she is responsible for the financial reporting of both the Diocese and the CDF. Prior to this she worked as an auditor, predominantly in the public sector. Janice is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in accounting from the University of Waikato.
Diocesan General Manager: Andy Doherty – B.Com
Andy is an experienced General Manager that has also been a Director for a number of years in New Zealand and Australia as well as experience on various Trust and School Boards. Andy has a Bachelor of Commerce from Canterbury University majoring in Business Administration and Marketing. Having worked in Hong Kong and China as well as Melbourne Andy has a variety of international experience that he brings to the Diocese and the CDF.
CDF Administrator: Melanie Perry
Melanie Perry was employed by the Catholic Diocese of Christchurch in 2007.
In the ten years Melanie has been with the CDF she has moved from Customer Services, assisting Maria Rohs, the CDF Promotions Officer, to become the CDF Administrator, morphing both roles into one.
Melanie’s background is front line meeting and greeting, firstly as a CSO at the National Bank of NZ, moving into senior airline roles with Ansett New Zealand and then with Air New Zealand, her last role as Team Leader Domestic/International.
Her strength is in communication and building relationships.
Melanie & Leigh were married at Our Lady of Victories church, and have three sons.
